About This Piece:
"Children of Humanity", at the end of it all, we are nothing more than children of humanity. Living on a planet in a universe all as unique and important as we are individually. The figure in this sculpture piece seems to be stepping out of gold, or into gold. The difference of significance in this is left to the viewer. This sculpture piece is the most well crafted the artist has attempted with plaster. Each layer was carved, redacted and re applied to achieve the final forms and the final texturing. The vivid red makes this piece stand out while the gold with black trimming at its base create a sense of wealth and importance to symbolize the very soul of humanity.
