while being dead for close to a minute several years ago, this image is the closest visualization to document the experience. the border between life and death? death itself? hell? where i was i do not know. to go back there again i fear. the feeling was intense fear, there was a chill, a cold that i could feel deep into my soul. there was no light. i could not see my hands or any part of my body but i could "feel" my body, my 'soul' if you will there. there was nothing else around. just cold cold blackness and a void that has left an imprint on me forever. perhaps once you see this borderland of life and the beyond you always attached to it, a piece of me still there and a piece of me here....
